Patience, Grasshopper

We cannot know the future. And we must not fear the unknown.

But we must listen and, through wisdom, seek to discern and understand.

We often have to make choices with incomplete information. Major decisions usually involve the greatest degree of uncertainty. But we must trust that the ethical decision is the correct decision. In the end, integrity trumps rational, economic self-interest.

We must be patient and allow the future to unfold.

Uncertainty is often described as a form of darkness. I disagree.

Fear is the only darkness.

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. There is no fear in love. Perfect love drives out fear. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

I am fearless.
